What can be found in the United Arab Emirates?


It seems that no one will be surprised by the golden luxury of the Muslim East, and it seems that if at some point the sheikhs of the United Arab Emirates get tired of building skyscrapers from glass and concrete, they will begin to cover them with pure gold. But is there anything to see in the UAE, because the state is very young? The Emirates are creating their own contemporary and unique culture and attractions.

The largest indoor amusement park Ferrari World, which is located in the capital, Abu Dhabi, on the entertainment island Yas. The world's fastest roller coaster is launched at Ferrari Theme Park in the UAE.

In 1980, the first Christian temple in the UAE, belonging to the Armenian Apostolic Church, was opened in Sharjah - the Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator in Sharjah. In the 19th century, the city of Sharjah experienced a heyday thanks to trade, and since that time, the quarters of old Sharjah, watchtowers on the bay and historical monuments stored in the museums of the Emirate have been preserved.

Dubai continues the tradition of the Emirates and tries to maintain the status of "very-very". First, Dubai is one of the hottest cities in the world. The city has a rather ancient history and some monuments, like the Al-Fahidi fort, which was built in 1799. But, undoubtedly, the main objects of interest in the United Arab Emirates, and in Dubai in particular, have become the achievements of modern architecture. Artificial islands, perfect transportation system and super-modern hotels - the dream come true for any urban architect.

The tallest building in the world is located in Dubai, this is the Burj Khalifa skyscraper. It should be noted the ingenious find of the designers who designed this tower, resembling an ice stalagmite in shape. In the scorching heat of Dubai, the shining peak of the Burj Khalifa rises to a height of 828 meters - this is the full height of the UAE's Pride Tower, which was named after Sheikh Zayed's son, Khalifa ibn Zayed al-Nahyan.

You can touch wealth in its purest form if you go to the UAE, namely to Dubai, go to the central shopping area of Deira and find the Gold Souk gold market, where you can buy precious metal products at the lowest price in the world. White, yellow and rose gold; rings, chains, pendants and earrings; gold in pure form and with stones; gold in bulk is available for any connoisseur and buyer.

Where else can you go to the UAE?

One of the largest deserts in the world is Rub al-Khali. It covers most of the UAE. It seems that life here seethes only on the coast, in the sun-drenched and golden Emirates, but this is not so. If you go inland, there is something to see in the most real oases. The largest of the cities far from the sea is Al Ain, the birthplace of the much-revered President Zayed ibn Sultan al-Nahyan. The largest zoo in the UAE is located in this area. It is also interesting to go to Mount Jebel Hafeet, to the top of which a modern serpentine road is laid, and to observe the melting sands of the Emirates from a height.

The emirate of Fujairah is unique in that, unlike the neighboring Emirates, it is not rich in oil, but it is very well located on the shores of the Gulf of Oman in the easternmost part of the UAE, which allows the development of the local port business. The ancient fort of El Bitna, built in 1735, is the easternmost monument fort in the UAE. Nature deprived Al-Fujairah with oil, but in return gave something that is so little in the desert Emirates - Rocky Mountains towering over the sea, an abundance of mineral springs, and rich flora.
